11 Mar The Natural Path to Healing
God did not create us to live our lives in front of computer or TV screens, eating processed foods, only to attempt to correct the consequences with medication. It is important to recognize that much of the food provided by “Big Agriculture” has been altered from its original form, making it more unnatural and less healthy.
Medically, it is common to suppress the body’s natural healing mechanisms with medications. For example, using Tylenol to lower a fever or relieve pain often interferes with the body’s production of interferon, a crucial component of immune response. Fever is the body’s way of fighting infections, yet we often suppress it with medication for the sake of comfort, mistakenly believing this to be healing. Instead, we should allow the body to regulate temperature naturally through sweating.
As a holistic clinician, I view each patient as a whole person, integrating physical, mental, and biochemical aspects of healing. My focus is on correcting dysfunction rather than merely suppressing symptoms—I treat people, not just their ailments.
Body and spirit, humanity and nature—these are not separate entities but one. When they are aligned naturally, healing occurs. A true love for medicine lies in understanding these connections and restoring balance.
“Wherever the art of medicine is loved, there is also a love of humanity.” — Hippocrates
